Please note the following general conditions:

• The Main Library at Paola opens Monday to Friday, from 08.00 am till 04.30 pm.  However, in July and August the library opens till 01.00 pm.
• The quoted extra hours over and above 04.30 pm apply only from 1st October to the 3rd week of June.
• Institute libraries open three or four times a week, in some cases mornings only.
• Institute libraries generally remain closed during the noon hours – some exceptions apply.
• The Main Library and all Institute libraries are closed during the MCAST Christmas shutdown.
• Institute Libraries are closed also during the Easter and Summer term recesses.
• All libraries are closed on weekends and public holidays.
• In the case of Institute libraries, the library is closed on the days when the Assistant Librarian is on leave.  So, before visiting such libraries from outside the respective campuses, please contact such libraries to confirm that they are open.
